Please…hurry… Hurry and find me…I… I don't want to be here…in this paradox of dreams…and the waking… Help… Takara woke from her dream rather abruptly and looked around sitting upright in bed. 'Nothing…' she thought. 'Nothing out the ordinary, except I heard that voice in my dream again.' "Wh…what the..?" Teiru appeared from his gadget form rubbing his eyes with his paws. "Is it morning already…?" He looked and saw the time. "Seven O'clock?" "Morning, Teiru! Sleep well?" Takara smiled at the tired cat, who was promptly wide awake. "Yeah, I needed that! Considering…" He took out his net and showed Takara the music note. "that we caught this!" "What is that?" "A solfege seed. It's needed to find emblems to unseal the Purities. If we find seven, it'll lead us to an emblem." "I heard a bit about those emblems, that all the Purities scattered them. Tell me about them." "Very well." He reverted to his gadget form and brought up an info screen. "There are about eight emblems total, each one represents a purity of man." The info screen switched to the seal, only this time there were symbols hovering over each circle. "Courage, Love, Light, Purity, Friendship, Faith, Hope, and Knowledge. Each emblem used up all it's power to seal the evil King. You're not gonna be able to defeat him unless you find and restore the emblems' power." "Gotcha." __________________ "I still keep hearing that voice, Teiru." Takara said out loud as she walked to the center of the mall to meet Tai. "What voice?" "He's often in my dreams, but at times, the voice just pops up. The first time I heard him, was when I first went to the Purity Shrine…after that I didn't hear him for a long while, but a week ago, I started hearing him again." "Wow…" "Ah, there he is now! TAI!!" Tai heard Takara call out to him and ran over to her waving. "Glad you came, Takara. Torika is performing the lead in Maddy's play." "She's what?" "Come on." They ran over to the center and saw people in seats and an empty set. The duo found two empty seats up front and sat next to each other. 'I never thought Torika would be that good enough to make the cut. But then again, Takara could, she just has to find the courage to stand out.' "Takara, all this will be for drama class." "Great!" Takara proclaimed and got stars in her eyes as she turned to the stage. 'Oh, man, this is perfect!' she thought. "Y-you're squishing me!" Teiru whispered. "Sorry…" She took out the gadget and showed Teiru the set. At that point, Maddy came up to the set and tapped the microphone. "Testing. One, two…ahem. All right, everyone, I'm about to give you a preview of my newest play, 'Mahou Shoujo Torika!'" The crowd began to "ooh…" and "ahh…" at this announcement. ___________________ A figure garbed in black with some red bangs protruding from a hood was running over to the stage. Along the way, it passed a man going a different direction. "Excuse me, sir…" Sending a purple shock at him, the black figure hid behind the stereo set, where a woman with red hair and crimson eyes wearing a black jumpsuit came into view. "Yuri, beware of Majo Hoshi…" The woman whispered. "Kaitou Aiko, the body you've chosen is perfect for stealth, but rest assured, I will defeat Takara." The figure, Yuri, whispered back. "Best hurry, our Master is still sealed up." Aiko told him and teleported away. _________________ "Now, for our main star, Here's Torika!" The spotlight shined down on Yuri. "Who are you?!" "The one who's wrecking this place!" "And what right do you have?" "This!" He lifted up Maddy with telekinesis and threw her away. All of the audience except Takara began to panic. "Maddy!" yelled Takara. "Takara!" Upon hearing Teiru's call, she turned her attention to him. "I don't know who she is, but she's associated with the King!" A black streak went over her head and to a technology store. One of the computers went wild, grew huge, and charged to the stage. "And, she just released a parasite!" "I know what to do." She immediately bolted backstage to an empty dressing room and took out her compact. ___________________ "Time to clear the halls!" Majo Hoshi was at the electronics department, peeking around. She found a fan behind a window and pointed her rod at it. "Kaze no Mahou (1)! Create a wind to get the audience to safety!" The fan glowed and disappeared over to the stage. On high power it blew the audience westward out of the set. "Okay, Teiru, I need information!" "Scanning…got it! This is a thunder-element shadow beast, and you probably know what happens when it gathers the negative energy of electricity!" The beast sent shockwaves at her. 'Electricity…that's it!' She pointed her rod at the monster. "Chi no Mahou (2)! Create a mud shield!" A brown barrier blocked the shockwaves and sent them back at the monster. "Now what to do with this thing? The parasite's in the computer!" "I'll handle it, Hoshi! Just plug me into the hard drive. Your healing should finish it off!" Teiru called out. "Okay." Majo Hoshi took the gadget out and pointed it at the computer. "Insert! Kuririn Gadget!" She pressed the center button. "Tondeke PYUU (3)!" A white beam entered a transmission outlet very fast, like light speed. The gadget disappeared and she readied her rod. "Courage, Friendship, Love, Knowledge, Faith, Hope, Purity, and Light! Unite as one!" She drew a triangle with the rod. "Prism Shard Storm!" The shards bombarded the computer and the screen lit up as the parasite flew out, ready to run away, only to be caught by Teiru, who flew out with it. The parasite became an indigo solfege seed and went into the slot. "Two down, five to go!" Teiru declared proudly. The mall restored itself to normal. ____________________ "Let's drink for the end of rehearsal!" A man declared at the catering tables after everything went to normal. "Honpai (4)!" All yelled and put their cups together to start a feast. Everyone began to dig in to their food. Especially Teiru, who was sitting on the floor behind Takara's chair, munching on cookies. "This is our best hit yet! Good work, Maddy!" Torika complimented. Maddy was taken aback by this and bowed. Noticing some chips, she took some when Torika was about to do the same. "Maddy, that's mine!" "While you're saying that, I'll take this." Takara took a bit of steak from the center plate and ate it. "Yummy!" "Oh, man…" Next time: Takara: I love a parade! It's so colorful and big…and at Nara (5), it'll be great! Teiru: Um, Takara, we've got problems…big problems! Takara: Relax, what could possibly go wrong? THAT'S WHAT!!
