This chapter's guest character: Miyako Inoue is from Digimon Adventure 02. "PLEASE!! Pretty please!" Teiru was in full begging gear in the school hallway. He caused a ruckus earlier on in the class and Takara, quickly making an excuse, took him to the hallway. Apparently, he wanted something to eat and he was begging for it. "Will you be good for the rest of the day?" Takara scornfully asked. "YES!" His eyes began to sparkle. She changed her attitude and put the gadget on a railing. Teiru turned to cat form and he jumped onto her head. "What would you like?" she asked the eager cat. "Taiyaki (1)!" came the reply. "Of course, you're a cat after all." They both headed for the school's kitchen. _____________________ "Class, there will be a parade tomorrow in the center of Kyoto. I would like all of you to join us teachers in the center." The bell sounded off and the students were free to head home. "Under the light of the lanterns…" Maddy and Torika joined Takara in walking out of school, with Maddy spinning her way in. "Torika, aren't you excited?" Maddy sang to her friend. "Yeah, it'll be great!" Torika replied, but then got a worried look on her face. "Something up, Torika?" Maddy asked and Takara walked away. "Nothing, nothing…" Torika left Maddy. 'If I stayed with her longer, I might make her worry." __________________ "Left, left! Other left!" A worker yelled. "Sheesh, keep doing that and you'll confuse the workers!" A girl with purple hair, caramel eyes wearing a bandana on her head and a workers' outfit was looking at a clipboard. "Put it to the right a little!" Two men finishing a large float did so. "Bingo, that's perfect!!" The same worker swiped the clipboard from the girl. "Hey!" "You act like you're the boss, Miyako!" "Correction, boss' daughter! And I was asked to take his place for his absence!" Miyako retorted. "Um, excuse me?" Miyako heard Takara's voice and saw her behind a fence. "Is this the way to Rakuten Road?" "Iie." Miyako walked up to Takara. "Take a left at Aruko and you'll see it." "Arigatou. Atashi Takara." "Inoue Miyako! Yoroshiku (2)!" They both shook hands. "Hope you see me in the parade!" "Thanks again!" Takara ran off. __________________ Teiru jumped and caught one parasite of Shadow, then caught two other strays in the same net. The three parasites became red, orange, and yellow solfege seeds. "That's three in one night! A new record!" He turned to Majo Hoshi. You're making excellent progress, my woman in knight's clothing. Two more to go…and then you can seek the emblem that will save me… "What the?" Majo Hoshi looked around the area, only to find nothing. 'Not this again…' She became Takara again and Teiru reverted to gadget form. "Let's go home. I've had enough déjà vu for one day." Miyako came out, hearing all the racket caused from the fight, but she didn't expect Yuri to come out and attack her. "I have to hurry. If Takara frees the Courage emblem, and if I fail in defeating her, the consequences will not be good. No sir…but I have a different way of attack. A way not even Majo Hoshi's rod can reverse." He snickered and Miyako turned pale as she gave off a black aura. Black tendrils appeared on her back. ___________________ "Chotto Matte!" yelled Torika as she raced over to Takara, Maddy, and Tai. Unfortunately her ring reacted and she blacked out again. Some light came from the sun and the shadow of Aiko took Torika's place. The parade had already started and all three were watching. "Hey, has anyone seen Torika?" Tai asked. "Funny, I thought she was coming…" Maddy began to look around. "Takara…" Teiru sternly spoke and Takara looked at the screen of her gadget. "I sense a lot of dark magic. Most of it, well, is in a human." "Oh boy…" Takara got her compact out and opened it, but she heard an evil laugh and everyone turned their attention to one of the balloons to see Yuri and Kaitou Aiko on them. "Not her again…" She raced out of the scene to a hiding spot. _____________________ Majo Hoshi jumped on the balloon Aiko and Yuri were on. "And who are you guys?" She demanded answers and pointed her rod at the two. "Oh, you're that stubborn, eh?" Aiko was up to something. "We are the servants of the Shadow King. Kaitou thief Aiko, at your service." "Yuri, but that's not important. Prepare to die!" Yuri took a katana from out of nowhere and lunged at her opposition. "Hi no Mahou! Firewall!" A flame shield materialized in front of Majo Hoshi and the two powers were equal. "Careful, she's a Servant of the King, 5th one!" Teiru had already gotten information on Yuri and was relaying it to her. "She's an expert in fire magic, so your flame shield will blow the both of you away in a matter of seconds. If you're gonna get to the parasite and heal it, get through Yuri with water magic." Takara nodded and turned to her opponent, but both Yuri and Aiko were gone. "Where are they?" A scream was heard and a woman was attacked by Miyako, now a monster due to the parasite. "Heal her from here, using the Sugar Ribbon Attack." "Gotcha." Her rod pointed diagonally to the sun and reacted. "Taiyou no Chikara!" Energy from the sun went to her staff. She pointed it in a different direction. "Tsukiyo no Chikara!" The Moon's energy also went to her staff and they began to form a helix. "Sugar Ribbon!" The helix broke into ribbons and went straight for the monster. Miyako was restored and the two parasites flew out, which were quickly caught by Teiru and turned into blue and purple solfege seeds. "Seven…" Teiru looked at the slot where the seeds were glittering. "We have all seven notes!" Teiru yelled. "YES!" Majo Hoshi yelled. Thank goodness… "Eep!" Hoshi looked around. 'His voice is more clear.' Preview: Takara: Do your best, team! Especially for the final match of the soccer game! What? Captain, you're being stubborn…I fear the worst with an emblem around.
